Campeche Resort is the biggest residential tourist complex in Mexico , which is located in the Municipality of Champotón , State of Campeche . The Signature Jack Nicklaus Golf Course has 18 holes and a Practice Range. Jack has paid special attention to the design and is known to enjoy the fishing as well! The course connects to mangrove, residential, marina and beach areas. The Golf Course Club House has a restaurant, bar, gym area, restrooms, locker rooms, tennis courts and pools. The Golf Course will be operated by Troon Golf, a leader with 200 golf courses under management. The Golf Course design has an environmental aspect. The irrigation system will feed only from pluvial waters and water from a purifying plant. The water will be stored in lake-shaped collectors integrated in the Golf Course landscaping. Further, the maintenance and fertilization of the Course will be done exclusively with organic products, eliminating chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides which are harmful for the environment. Also, in the Course design native vegetation species will be employed, thus enhancing the ecological equilibrium and sustainability of the flora and fauna species. The modern and attractive design of the Yacht Club and Marina will benefit the whole development. The Marina has a 150 yacht capacity and the Yacht Club has a restaurant, meeting room, dressing rooms, gym and dry marina. The waters of the Gulf of Mexico are great for sport deep sea fishing, sailing and underwater scuba diving. The Marina Village adjacent to the boardwalk and boulevard has two and three bedroom units, in a series of three and four level buildings. The lower levels of these buildings extend in a broad commercial and spreading area with a restaurant, coffee shops and stores. A maritime walk connects to the Yacht Club and the dockage slips. Puerta de Mar Village houses the beach units distributed in singular conch-shaped buildings.The two and three bedrooms dwellings are all double orientated. On one side is the terrace, with a private Jacuzzi for all of the apartments, with sea and sunset views. On the other side views are of the mangroves, low jungles and/or golf course depending on location. All of the buildings have direct access to the beach. Two Luxury Hotels are being built. One hotel will be a five star, 250-room Westin Hotel with a 500 meter beachfront.
